  • Group-3 (Changed Preferences): These candidates will be allowed to modify their preferences. Their previous allocated seat will remain unchanged, and this seat will be considered for updates. If the candidate does not make any changes to their preferences, the preferences from round-1 will be treated as final for round-2.
  • Group-4 (Candidates Who Were Not Allocated Any Seat): These candidates have registered, paid the registration fee, and filled preferences but were not allocated any seat in the first round. These candidates will be allowed to modify their preferences. If no changes are made to the previously filled preferences, then the round-1 preferences will be treated as final for round-2.

Seat Allocation in round-2

  • Based on the preferences provided by the eligible candidates in the above-mentioned groups, the seats will be allocated, and the details of the allocated seats will be shared on the website.
  • Seat Changes in round-2: candidates from the previous groups will be allocated seats without any changes. After that, the seats from reserved categories (such as OP, SC, ST, BC, EWS) will be modified according to their respective category rules.
  • Once all the reserved seats are allocated, if any seat from the reserved category remains unallocated, the changes will continue until all seats are filled. In this process, no changes will be made for reserved category seats (SC, ST, OBC, EWS).

Post Seat Allocation in round-2:

  • Candidates who have completed seat confirmation in round-1 can only make changes within the same category.
  • Candidates who filled their preferences and were allocated a “lottery seat” in round-1 can update their seat in the next available higher preference if a seat is available.
  • Candidates who were not allocated any seat in round-1 may be allocated seats in round-2.

For Group-1 and Group-4 candidates:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat must pay an online seat confirmation fee of Rs. 20,000 for General and OBC categories, and Rs. 12,000 for SC/ST categories.
