(5 Years), & lateral entry admission to second year (Third Semester) of B. Tech, B. Pharm & first year masters degree programs in MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Plan. OJEE Counselling will be conducted by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee and counselling is expected to start from May 2025. Candidates must do the registration on OJEE official website to participate in the counselling. Admission in B.Tech & B.arch will be based on (Joint Entrance Examination) JEE Main Paper 1 & Paper 2 conducted by NTA.

This web-based counselling process involves a series of steps that candidates must follow to complete their admission procedure successfully. The counselling procedure includes registration, payment of counselling fees, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and payment of part admission fees, along with options for seat upgradation in subsequent rounds. Candidates must make sure that all required documents are uploaded and verified to avoid any complications in securing their allotted seat. The entire process is conducted online, with multiple rounds of allotment and candidates have the opportunities to modify their choices or withdraw if they are not willing to continue in the counselling process.
STEP 1: Registration:
- Go to the OJEE’s official website at www.ojee.nic.in, then commence completing the registration.
- Choose the appropriate course, and click NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION.
- Read the consent page completely, and click I Agree to proceed.
- Provide the required information according to your rank card, such as Application number, Candidate’s name, Date of birth, Gender, and Security pin.

STEP 2: Personal Data
- Review the Pre-filled data displayed, which were made while submission of application.

- The password must be 8 to 13 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeric digit, and one special character (for example: Hrudanand@123).
- Please retype the password into the confirm password field.
- Upon successful registration, an SMS will be sent to the provided mobile number.
STEP 3: Candidate Profile
- Completion of domicile and category information by selecting domicile status.

- You may use the swap and move facility for reorganizing the priority of your options. TFW Candidates:
- Both TFW and non-TFW seats may be selected by eligible candidates. For the Tuition Fee Waiver plan, make sure that the criteria defined under it are fulfilled for the selection.
- Mock Allotment
- Your seat allotment status will be checked during mock results.
- Based on mock allotment results (if required), make changes to your choices. Choice Locking:
- Once you are satisfied with it, you will click Lock Choices and confirm with your password. Printout of the locked choices should be taken for future reference.
OJEE Seat Allotment Process
Allotment Round-I Process
- The allotment is based on a best-fit mechanism, considering the candidate’s rank, choices, and category/reservation.
- Round-I allotment results will be announced as per the OJEE schedule.
- Candidates will receive an SMS notification (if a mobile number was provided during registration).
- The allotment can also be checked on the official OJEE website through the candidate’s login.
- The seat shown in Round-I is temporary.
- Candidates should not report to the allotted institution at this stage.

- The results of the Round 2 seat allotment will be published as per the scheduled date provided on the official OJEE website.
- Additionally, information on all allotments will also be sent out through an SMS to the registered mobile numbers of candidates during registration.
- To check their allotment status, candidates must log on to the OJEE 2025 portal.
2. Allotment Status and Upgrades
- Candidates will see one of the following scenarios:
- Upgrade: The seat allotted would be upgraded to higher preference, depending upon the rank and seat availability.
- Same Allotment: The seat allotted to a candidate may remain unchanged from Round-I.
- New Allotment: Candidates who were not allotted any seat during Round-I may be allotted in this round according to their preference, rank, and availability.

- Candidates are strictly advised not to report to the allotted institution at this stage based on the Round-II allotment. Counseling or admission to the institution allotted to any student according to Round-II allotments is strictly prohibited at this time.
4. Steps for Un-Allotted Candidates
- Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Round-II should:
- Await the final allotment and modify their choices during the next choice-filling period if they so desire. Relock their preferences for the last allotment round.
5. Withdrawal from Counseling
- Candidates willing to withdraw from the counseling process have to follow the official pattern of withdrawal as already described above within the timeline to be entitled for receiving a refund of seat confirmation fee.
6. Steps for Newly-allotted Candidates
Round-II newly-allotted candidates need to pursue the following steps to remain eligible for the next round:
Exercise Option: Choose either the Freeze (finalize the allotment) or Float (retain the option for upgradation) option through their login portal.
Upload Required Documents:
- Upload necessary documents in PDF format as per the instructions on the portal.
- Ensure the uploaded documents are legible and meet the file size requirements.
Pay Seat Confirmation Fee:
- The seat confirmation fee must be paid online. Failure to complete this step will result in disqualification from further rounds, and the allotted seat will be marked as vacant.
7. Special Registration Opportunity
After Round-II, the registration process will reopen for the following candidates:
- Special OJEE candidates.
- JEE Main candidates.
