Bihar UGEAC Counselling 2025

Bihar UGEAC Counselling 2025 will be conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admission to admission to the first year B.E. / B. Tech. Courses in Govt. Engineering Colleges of Bihar, SGIDT, Patna , Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Womens Institute of Technology, Navodaya Complex, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga (Under Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga), Bihar. UGEAC Counselling may start from June 2025, candidate must do the registration on BCECEB official website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in) to participate in the counselling. Admission in engineering colleges in Bihar will be based on JEE Main 2025 rank.

Candidate must fulfill eligibility criteria to participate in the counselling. There will be two  counselling rounds, after two rounds of counseling for engineering courses, vacant seats will be filled using BCECE 2024 merit. There will be Horizontal Reservation for Women, 33% of seats in each category are reserved for women domiciled in Bihar. Only permanent residents of  Bihar will be eligible for reservation benefits. Non-residents can only apply under the unreserved category. Candidates should apply under the appropriate reservation category (BC/EBC instead of OBC for Bihar). If no eligible women candidates are available in a specific category, the seats may be allocated to male candidates in the same category.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admission

Candidate applying for admission in engineering college in Bihar must fulfill eligibiliy criteria prescribed by the BCECEB. Below is the criteria table for B.Tech Admission;

Bihar UGEAC Counselling Registration Process

Bihar Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) process has several steps from registration and application procedure for candidates seeking admission to engineering courses in Bihar. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide to the registration process:

Step 1: Registration

• Candidate must visit the official website and access the UGEAC registration portal at (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/).
• Enter your JEE (MAIN) 2025 Application Number and click on the “Verify” button.
• Provide your Date of Birth for verification.
• If the details are successfully verified, proceed to the next step and If verification fails, recheck your credentials and try again.
• Enter a valid email ID and mobile number, as all communication will be sent to these.
• Verify your email and mobile number using the verification codes sent to them.
• After successful verification, complete your registration. You will receive a confirmation message on your registered email and mobile number.
• Use your registered email ID and the created password to log in and proceed with the application form.

Step 2: Fill Personal Information

• Sign in to your account and click to the personal information section.
• Provide the required details accurately and click on the “Submit & Continue” button to save your information.

Step 3: Upload Photo and Signature

• Upload a passport sized photograph with a high contrast background.
• The photograph must include a placard displaying the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken.
• Upload your signature in both Hindi and English (not in capital letters).
• Click on “Submit & Continue” to save the uploaded files.

Step 4: Enter Educational Information

• Provide details about your educational qualifications as per the given fields.
• Click on “Submit & Continue” to save and proceed.

Step 5: Preview and Verify Application

• Carefully review all the details entered in steps 2, 3, and 4.
• If corrections are needed, click “Back to Edit” to make changes.
• Once verified, click “Submit & Continue” to finalize the application details.
• Accept the declaration and click “Confirm & Submit” to proceed to the payment section.

Step 6: Pay Counselling Fee

• Click on “Proceed to Payment” to pay the counselling fee.
• Payment can only be made online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 7: Download Part A & Part B

• After payment, download the Part-A and Part-B of the submitted application form.
• Keep the hard copy safely, as it will be required during the counselling process.

candidate at the time of his / her counselling / allotment on the scheduled date ;

Tech Admission Process in Bihar

UGEAC 2025 Seat Allotment Process is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) Board. It makes the process transparent and merit based seat allotment to the eligible candidates in engineering colleges of Bihar. The process is done in two rounds and the following steps explains it in detail:

Merit List Preparation

• After registration, BCECE Board prepares state merit list based on the candidate’s JEE Main 2025 scores.
• Candidates are ranked as per their JEE Main performance with reservation criteria as per bihar reservation policy.
• This merit list decides the order of seat allotment in counselling rounds.\

Choice Filling and Locking

• Candidates who are in the merit list must log in to UGEAC counselling portal using their registered credentials (email ID and password).

• Once choices are filled, candidates must lock their preferences before deadline.
• After locking no changes can be made so candidates are advised to review their choices carefully before locking.

• Candidates will be considered for seat allotment as per their rank in the state merit list.
• Seats will be allocated as per state’s reservation policy to ensure fair distribution across all categories.

Download Provisional Allotment Letter

• If you are allotted a seat, download your Provisional Allotment Letter from counselling portal.
• This letter will have details of the allotted college, course and further instructions.

Report to Allotted College

• Report to the allotted college in person within the given time for document verification and fee payment.
• Carry all original documents along with photocopies.
• Failure to report to the allotted college by the deadline will lead to cancellation of seat.
